About Summer Hullender
Singer Songwriter Summer
Hullender from a small town of Georgia clinging just south of the
Tennessee line, can be heard tapping out anywhere from the earliest of
Bluegrass tunes to the latest in Contemporary Worship. With a variety
of instruments and vocal stylings, Summer enjoys playing to all
crowds. She comes
from a rich background of musicians and singers including her mother
Rita who began working vocals with Summer at the early age of three.
She was playing guitar and singing by six years of age. Having been
steeped in celebrating life through song and talent she is now
nineteen and raring to go. "A
passionate voice driven by her desire to please the Heart of God" Randy
Owen of the group Alabama along with road manager Greg Fowler believed
in her ability to reach the heart of man so much that he signed her to
a 16 month management contract. Her latest CD Footsteps is a fresh approach
to bluegrass-based music dominated by one key element..."Our
lives are in His hands." She
is currently writing new material for her next project while booking
events to fill the calendar. All invitations are welcomed given her
availability, including weddings, nursing homes, social gatherings,
churches, restaurants etc... For
