Commonly Asked Questions About SheLovesGod

Recently friends and acquaintances have asked me these questions, and there are probably others who visit this site who would like to know the answers as well. So I thought I would address them here.

Why do I do this? I do SheLovesGod and the virtual conferences here because I love my Heavenly Father and His children. There is a special place in my heart for His daughters who have such a keen awareness of Him and desire to follow Him, yet have so many self-doubts and feelings of inadequacy that stand in their way. I do this because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and stand in awe at the transforming power He has made in my own life and in the lives of my fellow brothers and sisters. I do this because I am so very grateful for what God has done for me and want to share the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

I believe each of us has a divine destiny – a mission that God has sent us here to perform. I feel that my mission (at least for this season of my life) is to help others discover and fulfill their own divine destinies. This can only be done by laying down our yokes and taking Christ's upon us. Only through full conversion to Jesus Christ can we hope to recognize and fulfill His divine plan for our lives. That's why I wrote 10 Steps to Fulfilling Our Divine Destiny, and that's why I do this site.

How can I afford to run this site and do these virtual conferences? With a lot of help from my friends! There are so many wonderful people who volunteer their time, talents, products and services to make these things possible. For example, my friend and associate, Cathy Stucker of www.IdeaLady.com and Alanna Webb of www.LoveStories.com have been immensely kind in providing the telebridge line for our teleclasses. And when our freeware chat program went on the fritz the first day of last year's conference, three of my fellow webmasters volunteered their chat rooms. So in 2001, our chat room was graciously provided by Kellie Head of www.LazyGourmets.com . A myriad of individuals from various denominations have volunteered to teach classes, donate doorprizes and helped promote this conference – all out of the goodness of their own hearts. I have been amazed at the outpouring of help from others to make not only our annual conferences but also the day-to-day operations of this site a reality. We are also able to monetarily support the site through sales in our bookstore and sponsor ads.
