I've been a writer and a poet since I was ten years old. Even then, I would steal away to some quiet place with my journal and a sketch pad to write and draw pictures to go with my stories. I stopped sketching, but I have continued writing, and began sharing my stories and poems again a few years ago.

I've worked as Community News Editor and as an Editorial Assistant for a daily newspaper. I also publish a newsletter - Creatively Thrifty. I write both for pleasure and for a living. My articles appear on web sites about parenting, home schooling, crafting. Some also appear in a Christian women's magazine in Australia, and an ezine from Florida. Most recently, one of my stories was accepted for publication in a Sunday supplement magazine.
