Giving Thanks
Thanksgiving Day is a time to come
Together as a family and to give Thanks
To Our Heavenly Father up above
But we shouldnt just wait until this
Special Day to thank Him, but to give
Thanks everyday of the year
Its a time to spend with our loved ones
While eating a big feast and sharing with
Each other about what this special Day
Means To them in their own unique way
There are different ways that people celebrate
Thanksgiving and each way is different
Its also a time where we can do our own thing
Some watch football all day after filling up on
Thanksgiving dinner and some takes naps because
We ate too much of that wonderful dinner that was
Cooked by our loved ones that care so much for us
Some play games while others just sit and chat
Not wanting to bother those who are busy doing
Their own thing on this very special Day, and so
Lets us remember to give thanks for all that God
Has given us all throughout the year and to give
Thanks everyday because He is our Lord Jesus
Christ today and forevermore, Amen!
