Somebody somewhere, was praying for me
Though my eyes were open, still I could not see
All that I needed, I would find on my knees
Somebody somewhere, was praying for me.
It must have been mother, who was pleading my case
While I was out straying, she was down on her face
Asking the Father, to have mercy on me
Without the prayers of mother, tell me where would I be
Somebody somewhere was praying for me
Though my eyes were open,
Still I could not see
All that I needed
I would find on my knees
Somebody somewhere was praying for me
I know that my family, they were praying for me
By their intercession, I'm now set free
So if you have loved ones, that you know are in need
You just keep on praying, and soon you will see
The prayers of the righteous availeth much
Keep on praying
The prayers of the righterous availeth much
Keep on my praying
Somebody, somewhere was praying for me.
It could have been my mother, my sister, or my brother
Somebody somewhere, was praying for me.
