There are No Such Thing as Coincidences

Exodus 31:3: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.

It no accident, or coincidence that you reading this article. You were driven here for a reason.

I believe there are no such thing a coincidence, simply divine intervention.

God has a purpose for your life. You know it. You can feel it. You were led here by that feeling, by the desire to do more with your life than what you are presently doing.

You know and feel, within your soul, that there is more to life than getting up each morning and going to a job that leaves you feeling empty at the end of the week.

You believe that there has to be more to life than working everyday, coming home just to get ready for work the next day so you can start all over again, repeating basically the same thing every day. It’s endless.

Well, I’m here to tell you that there is more to life. God has created you in His image. He wouldn’t waste His time on creating something that was useless. You, my friend, are very useful. You are incredible and you don’t even know it, yet!

Before we were born in the flesh, our spirits roamed free and we weren’t bound by anything.

Somewhere, after our birth, we learned to stop following our soul and our spirit. We started listening to others who put limitations on our spirits and told us what we could and could not do. We started to believe them because we did not know any better.

They told us that getting a job, any job, was a good thing because we had security. They told us that anything else outside of the normal 9-to-5 job was just a pipe dream and doomed to fail.

But God is telling you that there are no limits to what you can do. There are no limits of what you can be. But first you have to learn to listen to your spirit, your soul, because God communicates with us through our spirit.

Once you start focusing on your spirit and connecting with God in a more spiritual way, communicating with him on the regular, you will start to see things happening in your life that were not happening before.

People will come into your life that will help to bring you to the next level. Things will become available to you that were not available to you before. When these things start to happen, don’t think of them as coincidences. They are not. They are all part of God’s plan for you.

Let me tell you a story about Karen.

Lately, Karen has been feeling restless. Her spirit has been bothering her, nudging her to think about her life. Thoughts have been coming more regularly to her, questioning why is she here. Why was she born? Her spirit is making her think that there has to be more to life than what she is presently doing.

Karen drives a local bus in her community. Her job is very stressful. She is constantly on a schedule to make her stops on time and if she doesn’t, she has to answer to management. She works six days a week for 8 hours a day.

One night after a rather stressful day, Karen decides to pray, with all her heart, and ask God to show her the reason why she was born. What is her purpose? Is she here simply to drive a bus from Point A to Point B, all day everyday?

The next day, Karen’s soul was still troubling her. It seemed like it was troubling her more than ever.

Thoughts kept coming to her while she was in route, that there must be more to life than this…

While driving her bus the next day, two women came on her bus and took the first seats right up front. They were having a very lively conversation and Karen decided to listen in.

They were talking about some sort of youth organization, which the older woman was apparently, the Director. She was saying that the Sarah, the woman who taught the children piano lessons, was quitting by the end of the week because she and her husband were moving out of state. The Director knew about Sarah’s leaving for over a month but was now in a bad position because she really needed someone to teach the children and no one had answered her advertisement as of yet.

Karen couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She loved to play the piano. She started playing at the age of 4. It was only a hobby but she secretly always wanted to give piano lessons to children. Years ago, she gave piano lessons to her niece and nephew and really enjoyed it. She remembers the time when she would run home from work because she always looked forward to their sessions. However, now that they were older, they no longer wanted to take the lessons and she really missed teaching.

“Excuse me,” Karen says. “I couldn’t help but over hear that you are looking for a piano instructor. I think I may be able to help you. I am a piano teacher and would love the opportunity to talk with you about your organizations.”

“Oh, my goodness,” says the Director, “this is really great. Here, take my business card and give me a call tomorrow.”

Coincidence, I don’t think so. When you start focusing on God’s purpose for your life, God will put people into your life at the right moment for the right reason.

Try it for yourself. Now that you’ve decided to discover God’s purpose for your life, what “coincidences” have happened to you?

See we are all part of God’s plan. There are people here that you haven’t met yet, but they will be vital to your purpose in life. The closer you draw to God, and the more you start making changes in your life that move you closer to God’s purpose, the faster these “coincidences” will begin to happen.

Don’t see these as coincidences. For they are not. See them as God’s work and ALWAYS remember to thank Him for the blessings.
